In the Garden
As things quieten down in the garden, we can reflect on a terrific growing year. The pumpkins in particular have been fantastic. We carved some of the pumpkins ready for Halloween at our last club, before breaking up for half term. We have provided various vegetables including courgettes, kale, potatoes, tomatoes as well as a variety of salad leaves to the school kitchen, for them to serve at lunchtime.
We are now looking forward to Spring. Sunflowers have been saved to harvest seeds from, along with courgette seeds, which will enable Gardening Club to experience the full life cycle of a plant.
